Today, on the 10th of June, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the results of class 12 or HS exams. As many as 88.44% of students who took the exam this year have passed. Compared to last year, when 97.89 percent of pupils passed the WB HS 12th Uchha Madhyamik result, this is a massive improvement.
Last year, 99.28% of students in the scientific stream passed their exams. In 2021, 99.8 percent of students in business and 97.39 percent in the arts passed their exams.
Students who took the West Bengal HS exams in 2022 can see their scores via wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.nic.in, respectively. Check your grades at News18.com as well. Login credentials, including the student’s birth date and roll number, must be entered before the student can view his or her mark sheet. Check marks will not be accessible until noon, even though the results were declared at 11 a.m.
The state’s Class 12 board exams were taken this year by over 7.45 lakh pupils.
Students who scored the highest in previous years’ West Bengal high school exams will be tested in 2022.
In the previous two years, the West Bengal Board did not make public the merit list. For the first time in two years, a list of the year’s top pupils has been released by the board.
Adisha DebSharma, Number One
Shayandip, in second place
A total of four pupils have 99.2 percent scores, putting them in the top tier of the rankings.
Many of the 272 students who made it into the top 10 scored the same or similar grades.
Merit lists were last released in 2019, with the following names at the top of the list:
First place went to Rajarshi Burman, who scored 498, and Shobhan Mandal, who scored 498.
Granthan Sengupta was the top student in 2018 with a grade point average of 496.
Rank 1: Archisman Panigrahi was the top student in 2017 with a perfect score of 99.22%.
Students must get at least 30 percent in each topic and overall in order to pass the tests. Students’ work will be evaluated in terms of both marks and letter grades. A grade of D or lower will necessitate retaking tests as compartment papers.
A+ is awarded to students who score in the 80-100 range. After that, we’d have something like this: Grades ranging from 79 to 60 earn an A, 59 to 45 earn a B, 44 to 30 earn a C, and grades below 30 get a D (Disqualified).
